Interval
Interval is an artist led-support network based in Bristol and one of the best things I’ve ever been part of. All the members of Interval share an office in St. Nicholas Market, where we all come to face endless hours of admin for our own work, read a book or rehearse a bit. We also have monthly meetings to collectively make decisions on how to run this network and generally, we just try to help each other have a better life as independent artists.
Everyone’s work is very different: from making big participatory shows, to dancing in theatres or making music for kid’s shows. The thing joining all members of Interval is the desire for community and a willingness to show up for each other whenever is needed. As the lack of support for artists becomes more overwhelming, Interval attempts to keep our work sustainable, connected and supported.
